Microsoft is widely expected to unveil the highly anticipated Microsoft Surface Pro 5 at Microsoft's Build Developer Conference. Meanwhile, the change in form factor of the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is said to reduce the price of the device.

Tech fans and experts are anticipating the Redmond, Washington based tech company to take the wraps off its Surface Pro 5 at Microsoft's Build Developer Conference 2017. The tech giant's event is slated to transpire on May 10 until May 12 in Seattle, Tech News Gazette reported.

Nonetheless, the long-awaited Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to feature a 12.3-inch screen, a 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, an upgraded Surface Pen stylus along with wireless charging feature and a 4K UltraHD display. The Surface Pro 5 could be powered by AMD's new Ryzen processors, in addition to the Intel Kaby Lake chips.

Although details about the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 are still uncertain, some reports suggest that the tech giant might roll out an AMD-based Surface Pro 5 variant and the expected Intel variant. Also, there are reports claiming that the upcoming Microsoft 2-in-1 device might support the tech company's Windows 10 Creator Update including the Surface Dial and the Hololens. Furthermore, tech fans are expecting the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 to have a $899 price tag, depending on configured hardware and bundled accessories.

On the other hand, the design of Microsoft's current Surface Book is very cool and was meant to be that way to rival Apple's MacBook Pro. The form factor change of the upcoming Microsoft Surface Book 2 is said to to reduce the price of the device. In spite of that, the upcoming Microsoft Surface Book 2 has entered production. Reports are claiming that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 would also be unveiled in the tech giant's event in May, I4U News reported.
