Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has passed every review it has gone through with flying colors earning itself the title of "the strongest mid-range phone of Q1 2017." With the apparent tight competition in this area, Galaxy A7 is able to rise above and showcase its newfound specs and feature.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is coined as the Galaxy S7 of the mid-range phone arena. The resemblance is very evident due to its rounder form factor which is quite noticeable in higher tier smartphones. Thus, Galaxy A7 is a fared-down version of Galaxy S7, CNET reported.

Believe it or not, Galaxy A7 has scored perfect 10 out in all the reviewers that tested the device. With its powerful battery life that lasts for about 22-hour, it is definitely the best choice especially for users who have high demand on battery consumption.

To clarify, Galaxy A7 is built with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and might stick to it all throughout. However, Android 7.0 Nougat is reportedly being tested by Samsung in its Galaxy A series according to a listing posted at GFXBench, AndroidHeadlines reported.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) was unable to overthrow OnePlus 3T in its throne despite the positive reviews. Although both are now considered Kings of mid-range phones, the more powerful regent is acknowledged through the specs.

Samsung has packed its 2017 Galaxy A7 with 1.9GHz Exynos 7880, the nearest competition of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 chip. Although this is not a total setback, it puts many into questioning why the Korean company opted for such processor, TheQuint noted.

Meanwhile, OnePlus 3T boast a flagship Snapdragon 821 processor which matches Google Pixel's capacity in benchmark test conducted by CNET. This leaves Galaxy A7 (2017) miles behind the latter. However, Galaxy A7 is also notably fast considering that Asphalt 8 runs in it completely fine.

Are you satisfied with Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) or you are still asking why Samsung decided on a mid-range processor.
