iPhone 8 ‘Super-Cycle’ Will Be Delayed Due To Apple’s Own Mistakes, Vows For More Cutting-Edge Specs [REPORT]

By

Currently, Apple is faced with a substantial decline in sales for its so-called '"new" iPad, MacBook and iMac but evidently lacking visible upgrades. Meanwhile, its smartphone department has been alarmed of the current dilemma. Therefore, iPhone 8 is tiptoeing on the possibility of delaying its official release date to 2018.

iPhone 8 is reportedly scheduled to be launched this September 2017. Everything seemed to be sailing smoothly until this the news regarding the delay broke. Fans are upset but Apple insiders think otherwise, BusinessInsider reported.

Thus, the supposed massive launching of iPhone 8 turns out to be an empty frenzy which almost everyone anticipated. Adding salt to the wound, iPhone owners are reportedly holding their phones for a longer period of time due to fewer upgrade in new models.

The problem is consumers now believes that old Apple devices work just the same with the new generations since they have almost the same specs with a minimal upgrade. Although iPhone 8 is said to be a total repackage, it will be hard to sell without official confirmation from Apple.

According to BGR, the Cupertino-based tech giant may also be worried about Samsung Galaxy S8 lineup which is admittedly an iPhone-killer. Additionally, another problem posed by this Korean company is the OLED supply. Apple suppliers claim that the problem with OLED production and 3D sensing technology may also cause the iPhone 8 delay.

Despite the negative reports, iPhone 8 still has positive news. The delay will only last for several weeks but will be just in time for the December holidays. In addition, the delay is just an assumption and there are still more days remaining for production since today is only April.

Moreover, Drexel Hamilton analyst Brian White clarified that in case the problem progresses, only the 5.8 iPhone 8 OLED-equipped tier will be delayed not the while the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 8 may still proceed with September release date.

What can you say about the iPhone 8?
