The big deal tenth anniversary may have no iPhone 8 released or at least immediately available after launch. The flagship device faced "technical issues" in the production of the OLED screen and 3D camera, delaying the release to October or November. Despite the bad news, there is good news in pricing for the latest iteration may retail at $850 for entry-level and not the reported $1,000.

The iPhone 8 is heavily anticipated for it will be unveiled in time for the tenth anniversary of the very first iPhone. The said unveiling is expected to happen in September following an annual rhythm of launch. The iPhone 7 was launched on Sept. 16, 2017, so a mid-September event is hoped to bring Apple's newest flagship device.

However, a report from the Economic Daily News reveals that the iPhone has suffered some "technical issues" in production. There are problems with the lamination of the OLED screen and the new feature, the 3D-sensing camera. Digitimes is set to track the passive components of the iPhone 8 to ascertain if indeed production is disrupted. According to its supply chain sources, partners should start taking orders for passive components by July and until then there is no way to make any confirmation.

Observers say Apple could still push for a September event but there will be no iPhone 8 readily available after, The Sun reported. In its stead are the upcoming iPhone 7 and 7 Plus which should be released at post-launch. Shipments of the newest iPhones can commence a few months later just before the Christmas holidays. This is one season Apple will not miss for this is when Apple products like the iPhone get high sales.

Meanwhile, there is some good news amidst the delay for the iPhone 8 will not be as expensive as previously reported. Apple is once again positioning its products making entry-level to mid-market prices low, Tech Spot reported. The iPhone will start at $850 for the 64GB of RAM while the highest-end will be $1,000 for the 256GB of storage. Incidentally, the Samsung Galaxy S8 starts around $840 to $850, which is the same price range as Apple's latest iPhone.
