The LG G6 phone introduced at MWC 2017 has been making rounds on the internet. It's not only lauded for the impressive upgrades but LG seems to make a statement to take on Google Pixel, and even the iPhone.

• Google Assistant

The G6 specifications are pretty much the same as what the leaks and rumors have been talking about - it is the first phone outside Pixel that has a native Google Assistant. The fans are thankful to LG that it finally goes back to basic with a conventional smartphone instead of modular.

• More camera features

As the top-end flagship, LG G6 ofers wide range of camera features. It can display the last photos you take, side-by-side with with the live camera view.

It is great in a weird way as the unusual aspect ratio makes the screen wider. LG does this for the sake of FullVision technology on its massive display that allows G6 to be divided in squares for its Square camera app. However, it comes with a cost as images seem to be stretched to fit in.

• Huge display and 'almost bezel-less' look

With the aspect ratio and display, LG brings an important key feature to the G6. The design is attractive with a look that's almost bezel-less, Yahoo reported.

• Water resistant

LG G6 is IP68 certified like the Galaxy S7 and user can take it for a swim up to 1 m deep. This new feature may not be a new thing but it is a nice upgrade to see on a LG handset.

• Big battery

The non-removable 3,200 mAh battery may be disappointing but fans will not miss it much as the device comes with much bigger capacity than the other premium flagships. To put into perspective, Google Pixel is not water resistant and it has 2,770 mAh battery whilst Galaxy S7 gets 3,000 mAh, Tech Radar reported.
