During a 24-hour charity stream event, "World of Tanks" streamer Brian "PoShYbRiD" Vigneault, 35 and a father of three, died while on a marathon stream charity event.

On February 19, Vigneault was reportedly streaming "World of Tanks" for 22 hours to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which he was hosting from his home. He was found lifeless Sunday evening at his residence in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Speculations as to the cause of his death, pointed to heart complications due to sleep deprivation.

Reports said Vigneault reportedly stepped away from the live stream at around 3:30 a.m. CST. He announced in the stream that he was going for smokes and left the stream running but never returned, according to PVPLive.

Players still on the stream around 11 a.m. CST assumed Vigneault fell asleep. Around 19:00, a person who identified himself as a detective talked to one player named Sorelor to confirm Vigneault's passing.

He was a popular "World of Tanks" streamer and known for chain smoking and drinking while on steam. Accordingly, the combination of poor health choices plus sleep deprivation might have been too much for his heart.

His death rattled the Twitch community. In response to the unfortunate news, Twitch turned Vigneault's channel into a memorial where people can visit and send their condolences, according to Cinema Blend.

A word of caution was sent out to streamers, both experienced or not, to not attempt 24-hour live streams or more without seeking the approval of physicians first to be on the safe side and be sure their body can handle it.

Meanwhile, it is found that the incidence of a stroke or cardiac disease susceptibility is linked to how much a person sleeps, or lack thereof. According to Warwick Medical School, prolonged sleep deprivation can have a serious impact on cardiac health.

According to their research, sleep deprivation is linked to incidence of strokes, heart attacks and cardiovascular disorders that often lead to an early death. Coupled with unhealthy life choices, the problem is exacerbated.
