Google isn't totally ignoring their Nexus phones. The tech giant is introducing a major Pixel feature to the LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P.

9to5Google's Stephen Hall claimed that the Nexus 5X and 6P will get Pixel's Google Assistant in the phones' next "major" update. Aside from the Google Pixel, the intelligent virtual assistant is also integrated into the Google Home device, Allo app and Android Wear.

The Assistant isn't the first Pixel feature to grace Nexus phones. The company recently introduced the "fingerprint swipe" gesture to the Nexus 5X. The feature allows users to swipe down on the fingerprint sensor located on the back of the handset to check their notifications.

Google previously said that Assistant is exclusive to the Pixel phones and Google Home, but it seems that they want to introduce the feature to their customers who are in the midrange and upper-budget categories, too. The virtual assistant will also be available on the LG G6 and the Android TV via the Nexus Player, Mashable reported.

The Nexus 5X and 6P come close to each other in terms of specs and features. Both have 12.3-megapixel primary cameras, but the 6P's front-facing snapper is superior at 8 MP than the 5X's 5 MP.

Both devices come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgradable to Android Nougat. The 6P is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset and 3 GB of RAM, while the 5X runs using Snapdragon 808 and 2 GB of RAM. The 6P has a better battery at 3450 mAh, than the 5X's 2700 mAh battery.

Google has teamed up with LG for the new Nexus-like smartwatches carrying Android Wear 2.0. Those wearable devices are LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport.

According to Google's press release, both smartwatches were "designed in collaboration" with them and are equipped with the Snapdragon 2100 processor and 4 GB of internal storage. The Style is perfect for those who want a thin and light smartwatch without sacrificing comfort and beauty.

The wearable device comes with a 1.20-inch Circle POLED screen with 360 x 360 resolution, 512 GB of RAM, 240 mAh battery, wireless charging and an IP67 rating, though it doesn't have LTE capability. Customers can buy the product for $249.

The Sport model, meanwhile, has a bigger 1.38-inch Circle POLED screen with 480 x 480 resolution, 768 MB of RAM, LTE support, NFC support, GPS, 430 mAh battery, wireless charging, a rotating power button and IP68 dust and water resistance. It has LTE support unlike the Style, and costs more at $379.99.
