This way, it will be a lot easier to sell your experience to potential employers and you will be able to create more credibility, trust and intimacy.

Find a mentor and seek advice

Look for a person in your field whose skills and expertise you can emulate and ask them if they can mentor you. Learning from these people will help you become better at what you do. You do not need to be shy to ask. At the end of the day, both you as the mentee and the mentor can benefit from the relationship.
