The Xbox team reportedly aren't throwing out Xbox Project Scorpio's VR. Also, Xbox boss Phil Spencer reconfirms that the gaming system will be capable of running some video games in native 4K resolution. The Xbox head stated that he is confident about the forthcoming gaming console.

A Microsoft representative claimed that when the Xbox Project Scorpio rolls out later this year, the device will be the most powerful gaming system ever built. The Xbox Project Scorpio will come along with a 6 teraflop GPU to provide a true 4K gaming, a greater graphic fidelity, as well as a high-fidelity VR experiences. The Microsoft rep also stated that they have nothing additional to share regarding Xbox Project Scorpio at this time, according to Daily Star.

Nonetheless, there's still no word from the Redmond, Washington based tech giant on why the Xbox Project Scorpio page ditched the High-Fidelity VR. However, the Microsoft rep's statement does seem to suggest that the upcoming gaming system isn't planning on removing the High-Fidelity VR feature anytime soon.

It's still slightly unclear if the Xbox Project Scorpio VR features will be available during the console's launch. In spite of that, the statement does claim that the gaming console can provide High Fidelity VR when it rolls out in the market.

Meanwhile, in order to clarify rumors regarding a string of leaks around the Xbox Project Scorpio, Microsoft's Xbox chief Spencer moved to clear up any confusion surrounding the gaming system's resolution capabilities. When a game enthusiast asked via Twitter if the Xbox Project Scorpio would be capable of running games at a native 4K resolution, the Xbox boss simply replied with a Yes, according to Tech Radar.

In a follow-up tweet, the Xbox head made it known that the team's focus at the moment is just making the Xbox Project Scorpio's games great.
