Square Enix showcased more gameplay of the upcoming remastered version "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" during a second stage event at Taipei Game Show, which was hosted by Sony. Due to some new gameplay footage, game enthusiasts can now get a few more extra looks at how the video game's visuals have been updated.

The new gameplay footage of the upcoming "Final Fantasy XII" remastered version was featured during the Taipei Game Show. Wherein, producer Hiroaki Kato and the Final Fantasy brand manager Shinji Hashimoto were also on hand for the said event, according to Dual Shockers.

The "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" gameplay footage showcased several battle sequences as well as some familiar settings. Nonetheless, there may be one particular piece of action that could greatly interest gaming fans of the original 2006 "Final Fantasy XII" game.

The video shared by the YouTuber Giuseppe's Gaming, players of the upcoming "Final Fantasy XII" remastered version can now get an early glimpse at what the Ice Esper Mateus, The Corrupt looks like in the game. The trident-wielding Mateus uses familiar attacks to get the upper hand on the player's enemies. The YouTube video even showed Mateus deploying his special attack against an unlucky opponent.

Nevertheless, apart from the The Zodiac Age's improved graphics, the upcoming "Final Fantasy XII" remastered version is also expected to come along with a few more additional features that may entice gamers to go on this adventure once again, Final Fantasy reported.

In addition, trophies are being added to the "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" video game as well, which give players new goals to strive for. A new auto-save feature is said to come along too. The loading times should be faster in this remastered version offering, in comparison to what gamers had to deal with when it came to the original video game.
