Most fans and avid gamers alike are already familiar with the success of one of Ubisoft's acclaimed series, "Ghost Recon." With the upcominng latest installment to the franchise homing in on its early 2017 release date, fans are getting excited to grab a hold on "Ghost Recon Wildlands" soon. With a strong start being set by the company, they've also announced that they will be releasing a short film, as well. In other news, fans can read on through and learn what influenced composer Johaness while working on the game's music, according to sources.

It was recently reported that Ubisoft will be releasing a "Ghost Recon Wildlands" short film and is currently in production, Gamerant noted. It was stated therein that the live action film will be set in the game's world, which was previously reported by University Herald to have a very detailed design of Bolivia.

The "Ghost Recon Wildlands" live action short film will be called "War Within the Cartel," which is currently being produced by Legion of Creatives (a partnership between K/O Paper Products and Drive-By Entertainment focused on digital-centric entertainment). Moreover, the film will also feature executive producer Roberto Orci, who is also known for writing the screenplay of films like "Star Trek" and "Transformers" to name a few.

On top of that, fans will also see renowned rapper Tip "T.I." Harris being featured in the upcoming "Ghost Recon Wildlands" short live-action film, who was said to play the role of Marcus as a member of the Santa Blanca cartel.

In other news, Ubisoft has released a video featuring composer Alain Johaness (known for his work with Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures), Gamespot reported. The composer therein shared his inspiration while working on the game's music. It was said that he drew his inspiration from the game's overall environment and the complexity of working as a Ghost.
