Xiaomi introduced its latest flagship iteration Redmi Note 4 that is coming to India soon. Find out more about price, specs and release date!

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Specs

Redmi Note 4 does not receive many gains. For instance, it still has 5MP front-facing camera just like the Note 3. In fact, Note 4 experiences a decline in optics department as it's got 13 MP rear shooter instead of 16 MP.

Xiaomi offers Redmi Note 4 in two variants, the Standard edition pairs 16 GB inbuilt storage with 2 GB of RAM whilst the High edition packs 64 GB storage and 3 GB RAM.

There is no change in the display size as it sports 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. Redmi Note 4 has a slightly lower pixel density than Redmi Note 3. Both get MIUI8 custom skin but the fourth-gen device runs Android Marshmallow instead of Lollipop like its older sibling.

Fingerprint sensor is mounted at the rear panel. Redmi Note 4 gets a slight boost in battery department, packing 4100 mAh capacity. News18 has learned that the Indian version of Redmi Note 4 will be shipped with Snapdragon 625 instead of a MediaTek chip.

Since there's no significant change, Redmi Note 3 user might want to stick around with the handset. However, for those who plan on upgrading their Redmi Note 2 device with a better specced Xiaomi phone, Redmi Note 4 could be a solid choice.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 to hit New Delhi soon

Indian consumers will finally be able to purchase Redmi Note 4 on Jan. 19, according to NDTV. There will be three available colors: Grey, Silver and Gold.

The Redmi Note 4 is an affordable handset packing rather-premium hardware. The slim metal body is already a selling point of the device, thus, the release is much-anticipated. As for the pricing, the base model might sell for Rs 9,000. For Redmi Note 4 and Galaxy J7 2016 head-to-head comparison, find out here.
