It's been a month since the software giant Microsoft released the last Windows 10 Insider Preview build, which brought many features. Then on Christmas, Windows 10 Build 14997 leaked online, allowing users to get a sneak preview of upcoming features. Today, there's another build of Windows 10 that leaked online, but this time, it's slightly newer than the previous one.

According to MS Power User, the newest build was planned to be released to Windows Insiders this week, but Microsoft has encountered some upgrade issues on the way and decided not to roll it out. However, the Windows 10 Build 15002 was leaked online as a WIM image and users spotted it and downloaded it immediately.

Twitter user and renowned Microsoft leaker WalkingCat has quickly spotted the leaked Windows 10 Build 15002 under Desktop App Converter base images, Neowin reported.

According to WalkingCat, the WIM files directly from Microsoft's own servers, but it was later pulled out. Fortunately, the people at Inside Windows have managed to grab a mirror that users can use to try out build 15002.

The WIM files are said to be re-uploaded elsewhere, so users can still get a sneak peek. However, IT experts don't recommend using it because it is difficult to convert WIM images into a standard ISO file.

As for the build 15002, the newest build doesn't come with major new features. Among the new features is a toggle that allows for the exclusion of driver updates when using Windows Update. Additionally, the Continue App Experiences feature has been renamed to Cross-Device Experiences.

Users who already installed build 14997 are not recommended to install build 15002, according to some IT experts. Especially if they are not familiar with the WIM files because of some technical issues converting these files into standard ISO files.
