Samsung Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi 6 are reportedly coming out the market this February. Some say that they could be introduced during the CES 2017. Although both 2017 phones are yet to be announced, check out the information gathered below to help you out in picking the right phone.

• Battery

According to Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge Org., Samsung Galaxy S8 will host a non-removable 6200 mAh battery supported by swift wireless charger 4.0 that generates 80 percent battery life in 30 minutes. Xiaomi Mi 6 fancied a minimal 3000 mAh battery supported by Quick Charge 3.0.

• Camera Features

Rear Camera: Xiaomi Mi 6 has 23MP 6 element lens, f/2.0 aperture back camera with Optical Image Stabilization Plus feature compared to Samsung Galaxy S8's 30MP dual camera with geotagging and smile detection feature.

Front Camera: Samsung Galaxy S8 sports 12Mp camera packed with a dual LED flash while Xiaomi Mi 6 only has 7.0MP front camera.

• Storage

Xiaomi Mi 6 will host a 4GB RAM with onboard memory options 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB expandable to 256GB through its dual memory card slot. Samsung Galaxy S8's 6GB of RAM with internal memory options of 64 and 128 expandable up to 256GB.

• Display

Samsung S8 will have a 5.2-inch screen and a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels. S8 is set to host 4K display for outstanding graphic performance. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi 6 also measures 5.2 inches with the same 4K screen display with 4096 x 2160 resolution, Xiaomi Device wrote.

• OS

MIUI V7 will run Xiaomi Mi 6 while Samsung will install both Tizen OS of Microsoft and Samsung's android OS which will offer users to pick their preferred operating system, Yahoo reported.

• Processor

Both Samsung S8 and Xiaomi Mi 6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Quad Core.

• Color

Xiaomi Mi 6 will be available in only black color while Samsung S8 has four color options - Black, Blue, Gold, and White.

Expected Price

Xiaomi Mi 6 is reportedly priced $399 while Samsung S8 cost more than twice Mi 6 at $900.
