The Huawei P10 is highly anticipated since its predecessor, the P9, was well-received worldwide, pressuring the Chinese manufacturer to up the ante in specs by featuring wireless charging for the first time for its flagship premium phone. Moreover, recent leaked image indicates a flat design, debunking previous reports of a dual curved display, but there may be two variants of the phone that could still have the curved and the flat.

The Huawei P9 was rich in features and has amazing specs, which is why it was highly praised and embraced by tech enthusiasts worldwide. Fans of the Huawei are expecting the successor, the Huawei P10, to have similar functionalities, but with better features and new innovations as elaborated below.

Huawei P10 Premium Specs

The Huawei P10 is reported to be powered by the Octo-core Huawei Kirin 960 chipset with a Mali-671 GPU, running at clock speed of 2.3GHz. It features 6GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of built-in memory according to mobipicker.

Like the P9, it has a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, HDR and 4K video recording, while its front camera has 8MP. The Huawei P10 is also reported to have the Android Nougat out-of-the-box.

Huawei P10 New Innovations

The Huawei P10 is reported to have the 5.5-inch dual curved display and fully enabling a QUAD HD resolution, which is a marked upgrade from the P9's 5.2-inch with full HD display. Moreover, the P10 has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button, and boast of wireless charging, a first for Huawei smartphones.

The latest leak on the Huawei P10 comes from a Weibo reviewer_xiaokang, revealing a dual curved screen. However, a leaked image reveals otherwise, a flat design instead of the curved screen according to fabnewz. Analysts believe that the P10 may come in two variants, namely, the flat design and the curved screen just like the Edge of Samsung.

To recap, there is no official announcement as of yet from Huawei regarding the Huawei P10 official specs, features and release date. Nonetheless, consumers are hoping that the Huawei flagship high-end phone will be as affordable as the premium OnePlus 3T.
