Microsoft added a new batch of video games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility roster. By continuously updating the list of game titles, Xbox One owners are able to enjoy hundreds of video games from previous generation gaming systems like the Xbox 360.

Six game titles have recently been mounted up to the Backward Compatibility list. The list includes Rockstar Games' "Bully: Scholarship Edition," adventure game "Catherine" from Atlus, TopWare Interactive's "Skydive" and "Planets Under Attack," and Microsoft Studios' action platform game, "Raskulls." The "CLANNAD" from VisualArts was also added, however, the game is only available in Japan, according to Major Nelson.

Those wanting to play action titles over the holiday break can try the Scholarship Edition of the 2006 open world action-adventure game, "Bully." Meanwhile, those Xbox owners who are looking for more strategic games can play "Catherine" and "Planets Under Attack."

The latest Xbox One Backward Compatibility games follow the addition of the game series "BioShock, "BioShock 2" and "BioShock Infinite." The inclusion of the three titles resulted in the program to reach an important milestone.

The program is now packed with over 300 backward-compatible titles. To celebrate the occasion, Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hryb, also known as Major Nelson, posted on his Twitter account that the role-playing video game "Lost Odyssey" is free to download until Dec. 31.

Xbox One's Backward Compatibility feature was first launched in Nov. 2015, and the program has become one of the most popular features of the tech company's gaming system. Xbox boss Phil Spencer, hit on his Twitter account and stated that the backward-compatible games are being played by nearly 50 percent of all Xbox One owners.

Microsoft is also set to announce their lineup for Games with Gold January 2017. Xbox One owners can expect the tech company's announcement as soon as next week, Express reported.
