Oppo's R9s and R9s Plus are two Oppo models that boast having 16MP cameras both on the front and on the back.

The Oppo R9s and the Oppo R9s Plus are successors to Oppo's R9 and R9 Plus respectively. The Oppo R9 came with a 16MP rear camera and a 13MP front camera while the R9 Plus came with both front and back cameras at 16MP. As you have already learned, The Oppo R9s and R9 Plus cameras all sports 16MP.

Oppo R9s & Oppo R9s Plus cameras

Both units have a camera aperture of f/1.7 for the rear camera, while the Oppo R9s has electronic image stabilization; The Oppo R9s Plus has optical image stabilization, and LED Flash. Both can capture video in 4K. The front selfie cameras of both phones have an aperture of f/2.0.

Oppo R9s Specs

The Oppo R9s sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen in full HD and protected by a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5. The Oppo R9s is powered by an octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Soc and supported by an Adreno 506 GPU.

The Oppo R9s has 4GB of RAM and its 64GB internal storage is expandable through its hybrid dual-SIM slot. The unit features a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front and its 3,010-mAh battery provides enough juice to power the system up. It supports VOOC fast charge and runs Android 6.0.1 topped with Color OS 3.0 right out of the box.

The phone is already on the market and retails for around USD $415, according to Android Authority.

Oppo R9s Plus Specs

The larger Oppo R9s Plus sports a 6-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen also in full HD. The Oppo R9s Plus is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Soc (4x1.95 GHz Cortex-A72 & 4x1.44 GHz Cortex-A53) and supported by an Adreno 510 GPU.

The Oppo R9s Plus has 6GB of RAM and same with the R9s, its 64GB internal storage is expandable through its hybrid dual-SIM slot. The unit features a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front and a massive 4,000-mAh battery supports VOOC fast charge and comes running Android 6.0.1 topped with Color OS 3.0 right out of the box.

The Oppo R9s Plus is expected to be released this December with an expected price point of around USD $519, according to GSMArena.
