Hideo Kojima's upcoming "Death Stranding" is about to get a huge facelift this year. The upcoming open world action game continues to evolve after its introduction Sony's E3 2016 Conference.

According to Gamasutra, Metal Gear 5 video game creator Hideo Kojima will be using Guerrilla Games' revolutionary Decima Engine as the foundation for "Death Stranding" game development.

To accelerate the game development, Kojima Productions will be setting up a tech-focused satellite studio in Amsterdam, where Guerrilla Games are based.Hideo Kojima and PS4 lead system architect Mark Cerny have spent two weeks, looking for a game engine on which to develop "Death Stranding." They hard work have paid off when they meet Guerrilla Games, which developed the groundbreaking Decima engine.

Speaking at the recent PlayStation Experience Event last weekend, Kojima said that he had a very good feeling about working with the Dutch developer Guerrilla Games and using their innovative Decima Engine. Kojima has also praised the Decima engine, saying that it was well-suited for supporting open world games like the "Death Stranding.".

"Death Stranding" was the first game developed by Hideo Kojima's own company, Kojima Productions. It was published by Sony Interactive for the PlayStation 4 game console. Its former Konami video creator Hideo Kojima first game following the 2015 termination of their contract from Konami.

The upcoming game was first introduced at Sony's E3 2016 conference. " Death Stranding" is scheduled to be released sometime in 2019."Death Stranding" is said to feature actors Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and Guillermo del Toro. The "Death Stranding" is a reference to the cetacean stranding phenomenon.

In other "Death Standing" news, Kojima Productions has just released a new teaser trailer for the video game revealing characters. The trailer feature characters played by Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro. But the trailer doesn't provide much information about the upcoming game, up now, it still not clear what "Death Stranding" is all about.
