2016 has become a treasure trove of triple A video games so far and the video game enthusiasts are having a hard time choosing which ones are the best. Here are the top 5 video game titles of 2016 so far.

5. "Doom" 2016

"Doom" 2016 is a reboot of the popular first person shooter franchise way back in the early 1990s. The new version has great combat and fast-paced as fans have come to expect, and it really stands out amongst the rest of the shooter titles out there today. According to the official website of Metacritic, it has a score of 85, which is a really high score.

4. "Dark Souls 3"

The "Dark Souls" franchise has always been one of the toughest and most difficult video games to play since the first one, but it is also the most enjoyable to play. In "Dark Souls 3," it combines the great gameplay action of the first game and the graphical upgrades of the second title and gave it an upgrade to make it perfect. Metacritic has given this game a score of 89, a very high score due to its difficulty, beautiful graphics, and its straightforward gameplay mechanics.

3. "Sid Meier's Civilization VI"

"Sid Meier's Civilization" franchise has always been a treat when it comes to strategic empire building and now the sixth installment has given the players something new. "Sid Meier's Civilization VI" has upgraded visuals, better gameplay, and constant updates from the developers. Metacritic has given this game a score of 88.

2. "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End"

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" closes the story of Nathan Drake and unfolds one of the best adventure stories of hunting for treasure, fighting off rival treasure hunters, and family. This video game has incorporated Naughty Dog's great gameplay mechanics, beautiful visuals, and superb storytelling. Metacritic has given this game a very high score of 93.

One of the most anticipated video games of 2016, "Final Fantasy XV" has finally been released to the public after almost 10 years in development. According to the official website of the video game, it has superb graphics, amazing visuals, very interesting gameplay, and has a beautiful soundtrack. Metacritic has given it a score of 82.
