Xbox and PlayStation consoles have dominated sales in the previous years, and still the hottest gaming systems in the gaming world. This year, the consoles are better and cheaper than ever. Microsoft and Sony slashed the prices for the PS4 and Xbox One S until Christmas Eve.

Microsoft's Xbox One and Xbox One S bundles will have a $50 price off through Christmas eve, wherein it matches the previous holiday deals. The deals are up for grabs at Best Buy, Amazon, GameStop, Walmart and Microsoft Stores, to name just a few, according to Microsoft's Xbox Wire blog.

Best Buy already cut the prices for the PS4 and Xbox One S since Dec. 11, but it appears like the retail outlet won't be the only one to sell game enthusiasts cheaper consoles in the final weeks leading to Christmas. Sony is also cutting off the price of the PS4 by $50, which means that PS4 bundles will sell for the same $249 just like Xbox One S consoles, BGR reported.

Nevertheless, gamers can choose the perfect Xbox One S bundle, and what to do with their extra $50 that they saved. Microsoft's store offers gamers an extra controller or a game to go with their console purchase.

On the PS4 side of deals, gamers will find some lighter fare. The retailer company GameStop offers some nice bonuses if a person picks up a PS4, as GameStop will be giving away a $25 gift card bonus on either the regular PS4 Slim, or the 1TB PS4 Slim "Final Fantasy XV" limited edition bundle, Destructoid has learned.

That being said, as the deals of the cheap PS4 and Xbox One S are running until Dec. 24, it is expected that these are the final deals on the PS4 and Xbox One S until 2017 ends.
