Android Nougat 7.0 was officially rolled out last August 22 ahead of schedule to Nexus devices. Unlike previous updates, Android Nougat 7.0 was released to developers with a public preview beta program.

Even with the early rollout of Android Nougat 7.0 to developers, the timing for release would depend on each particular developer. The process goes from a few weeks to a few months of testing before eventual release, DigitalTrends reported.

Nexus

As expected, Google's Nexus devices are almost always the first to receive updates. Android Nougat 7.0 is now available for Nexus 6, 5X, 6P, 9, Nexus Player, Pixel C, General Mobile 4G. Nexus

Samsung

Huawei

Android Nougat 7.0 is already running for the Huawei P9 and Mate 8 exclusively to China for the moment. Huawei confirms rollout for P9, Mate 8 and Honor 8 on or before 2017.

HTC

HTC expects Android Nougat 7.0 before the year ends. The update covers unlocked HTC 10, HTC One A9 and HTC One M9 models including their mobile carrier versions.

Motorola

Moto Z and Z Force got updates 88 days after Android Nougat 7.0 was released. Other models are also confirmed but no release date was announced.

LG

LG V20 carries Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box, while LG G5 are slowly getting updated, as well as T-Mobile rolling out their own. It is expected the update will be available in a few days to weeks. LG G4 and LG V10's will be announced at a later date.

BlackBerry

The slowest to update its phones, BlackBerry has not formally announced anything related to Android 7.0.

Meanwhile, Sony is intent to be the first OEM outside Google to roll out Android Nougat 7.1.1 saying this is their number one priority, according to Xperia Blog. Reportedly, the update will feature a restart option in the power menu, and an image keyboard for supported apps.
