Olivia Munn, who is known for her role as Psylocke in "X-Men: Apocalypse" recently revealed her thoughts about women and their acting roles in the industry. According to the 36 year old actress, she relishes acting roles that focus on the women's brains more than their pretty and beautiful face.

At the beginning of her career, Olivia Munn was considerably a favorite actress among geeks, cites Dispatch. She depicts a smart and pretty lady when she hosted the "Attack of the Show!"

Olivia Munn is currently making her rounds promoting her latest movie, "Office Christmas Party" and she relates her role in this movie to that of her previous gig at "Attack of the Show!"

The actress plays a smart woman named Tracey. Olivia Munn's character works at a software company that is almost at the brink of collapse. That is until Munn's character saves the day by inventing a Wi-Fi device that will revolutionize technology and connectivity.

Admitting that she loves roles that portray women who are smart, Olivia Munn said during a phone interview with Dispatch that if she was not an actress, she would be an astronaut or a neurosurgeon instead.

She emphasizes that actresses are smart. Olivia Munn herself majored in journalism at the University of Oklahoma but detoured into acting. She admits that she always wanted to be an actress. The rest of her siblings were degree holders and when she told her mother that she wanted to become an actress, her mother did not agree to it.

For her, smart women should always be featured in any industry and platform. Her role in "Office Christmas Party!" features just that. Olivia Munn stars with Jason Bateman, T.J. Miller, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Randall Park, Courtney Vance and Jennifer Aniston.
