Jim Parsons of "The Big Bang Theory" is not just an Emmy-award winning actor, but also a prolific executive producer with an impressive resumé to boot. Speculations circulate that Parsons is prioritizing other shows like the newest "The Big Bang Theory" spin-off that features a younger Sheldon Cooper, which Parsons will be directly involved in as executive producer.

Parsons, who plays the theoretical physicist, Sheldon Cooper, is one of the fan favorites of "The Big Bang Theory." The show is now on its final run of its tenth season. "The Big Bang Theory" season 11 is speculated to air in the latter part of 2017 despite rumors of cancellation.

News about the show's cancellation started after CBS announced a Sheldon spin-off TV show, which will feature a younger Sheldon following the tradition of "Malcolm in the Middle," Metro has learned. Parsons will not be in the show, but will act as executive producer, prompting some to speculate that the actor may be leaving the "The Big Bang Theory" to focus more on his new projects.

Parsons may not have time for "The Big Bang Theory." He will also be producing another show called "Lance 2.0," which is about a couple who suffered an accident that radically changed the boyfriend's personality specifically his impulse control, Variety reported. Parsons will team up with writer Alex McAulay and long-time partner, Todd Spiewak who will also serve as executive producer.

Other shows produced by Parsons include "The Monarchy is Going to Sh*t" for Freeform, "Lakeside V.A." for ABC, and "The Terranauts" for CW. This is on top of playing Sheldon in "The Big Bang Theory" for the last ten seasons.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that "The Big Bang Theory" casts, including Parsons with Johnny Galecki (Leonard) and Kaley Cuoco (Penny), are asking for huge pay raises. This reportedly caused the delay of the renewal of "the Big Bang Theory" season 11. However, CBS appears to have come to a mutually agreed arrangement with the cast and "The Big Bang Theory" will still return next year.

In the meantime, fans of Parsons and "The Big Bang Theory" may still watch seaon 10 episode 11, which will air on Dec. 15 instead of Dec. 8 as previously reported. The "Big Bang Theory" can be seen in CBS at 8 p.m. EST.
