Fans will agree that it has been quite a year for the gaming industry as more and more games were rolled out in the market that kept gamers highly entertained. As such, Sony has capped of their year with their annual event in PlayStation Experience 2016 by dropping some huge announcements for some upcoming games. From a "Crash Bandicoot" remastered to a "Last of Us 2," more games were listed to be coming out for the PlayStation 4, according to sources.

It was previously reported that "Crash Bandicoot" will be coming out for the PlayStation 4 in 2017, University Herald noted. News of such made mention of the remastered collection to include the trilogy "Crash Bandicoot," "Cortex Strikes Back," and "Warped."

As such, Vicarious Visions caught everyone who attended the PlayStation Experience 2016 by surprise when they finally released a teaser and some exciting gameplay footage of the upcoming remastered version of "Crash Bandicoot" for the PS4, Polygon reported.

It was stated therein that the footage shown in the event featured the iconic character sporting a new and improved look, which described its fur to even look smoother than before. Also, the video highlighted the differences in graphical looks between the old and gameplay footage.

Fans were able to catch a glimpse of nostalgia as familiar boulder chases and encounters with bosses, such as Papu Papu and Dr. Neo Cortex, were shown.

Moreover, the source noted that the remastered version of the game will be titled "Crash Bandicoot: N'Sane Trilogy." Despite the developers not announcing an exact release date, fans can expect the game to be launched some time in 2017.

In other news, the PlayStation Experience 2016 culminated with a lot of other major game announcements, such as Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us 2," PlayStation Blog reported. It was said that the sequel will be dubbed as "The Last of Us Part II," which will feature the return of Ellie and Joel.

Not only that but it was also announced that Naught Dog will be releasing the first-ever story DLC for "Uncharted 4". On top of these two announcements, more games were confirmed to be coming to the PS4, such as "Vane," "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" and more.

With all these said, fans can expect more great things coming to the PlayStation 4 in the coming years.
