Fans of the acclaimed fighitng genre video game, "Tekken 7" have a lot to look forward to in the future as the game seems to be coming to the PC, according to sources. Moreover, fans can expect more from the title getting involved in the eSports industry as the game designer himself discusses the future of "Tekken" in the competitive scene.

Albeit the number of times the game experienced some push backs and delays, it has been confirmed by the game's creator and designer, Katsuhiro Harada, that "Tekken 7 will finally be ported to the PC thanks to the technology of utilizing the new Unreal Engine 4, which helped speed up the development time of the game, Two Left Sticks reported.

In an interview with Harada, who is also known for voicing Forest Law in "Tekken 3," he stated that the driving force behind their decision to port the game to PC was that the technology nowadays (referring to Unreal Engine 4) has allowed them to start developing the game in PC, rather than porting it afterwards, Gamespot learned.

Moreover, Katsuhiro Harada mentioned that a lot of the gamers now would prefer to play on the PC rather than the current-gen consoles, which opened up "Tekken 7" to that market. As for the next-gen consoles, like the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio, he further stated therein that those are fairly new to them and that it would be hard for them to give a definite answer on whether the game will be ported to those, as well.

In the same interview, Harada also mentioned the involvement of "Tekken 7" in the competitive scene, namely the eSports industry. He stated that they're already able to hold tournament series with the current arcade boards that they have.

In addition, he noted that as the eSports industry is steadily growing, the release of the game on console and PC in early 2017 might also start picking up with regard to the players having more time with the game.
