Fans and gamers alike can rest assure that BioWare's highly-anticipated sci-fi video game "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is well on its way as the developers tease fans with more details and information. Moreover, critcs discuss as to why the Salarian race should be featured more in the upcoming installment of the "Mass Effect" franchise.

It was recently reported that Mac Walter, part of BioWare and behind the development of the upcoming "Mass Effect: Andromeda," went on to Twitter to let fans know few details about the game, Gamingbolt has learned.

It was said that Walters went on to tweet expressing his excitement on the new level design for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." He further explained that he is really excited as to how both the jump and verticality have greatly improved and opened further the level designs of the game.

It was also mentioned in another tweet that Bioware is featuring character customizations and Loyalty missions in its upcoming action role-playing shooter video game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

Details of the game's plot and story were also unveiled to fans where it was learned that the title of "Andromeda" stemmed from the Andromeda Initiative, established around the timeline of the second "Mass Effect" game, IGN reported.

The source also stated further that the goal was to find a new settlement by exploring in four "arks," each transporting a different alien race. These arks were said to be headed to the Andromeda Galaxy, in an effort to study the Heleus cluster and the potential locations for them to inhabit on.

Speaking of alien races, it was discussed by Techno Buffalo that the Salarian race ought to be featured more in the upcoming "Mass Effect: Andromeda." It was mentioned that it wasn't until "Mass Effect 2" that fans were able to see the Salarian race being featured the game. Since then, characters like Mordin Solus became popular as fan favorites.

However, it was noted that the Salarian race was placed on a more supporting role for "Mass Effect 3," which seemed to be a bummer since they've already made a big impact in "Mass Effect 2."

As such, it was suggested that the upcoming "Mass Effect: Andromeda" should feature the Salarian race and the complexity that the race's characters could offer to BioWare's latest installment.
