Xbox Scorpio, which is the touted codename of the coming Xbox console by Microsoft that is slated for a December 2017 release, is said to deliver true 4K video resolutions that will blow its rival out of the water.

With its 6-teraflops of pure computational power, it easily dwarfs Sony PS4 Pro's 4.2-teraflops. Head of Xbox Games Aaron Greenberg said that the Xbox Scorpio will really be the most powerful console there is and will bring with it incredible visual games presented in really true 4K that is never seen before in a game console, Gamespot reported.

He also alluded to the fact that high-end PC gamers have been playing games that can beat any console at its game in both resolution and performance albeit spending thousands of dollars to achieve such a feat. By implying that the Xbox Scorpio can deliver the same level of performance as that of a high-end PC, can Greenberg's boast hold water when the Xbox Scorpio is finally out?

It is touted to be 40 percent more powerful than its ardent competitor. However, can it match a fully souped up PC where gaming is concerned? The Xbox Scorpio as stated is due for release before the holidays of 2017; users have no recourse but to wait a little bit longer.

Nevertheless, with its partially leaked technology, it looks as though the designers of the Xbox Scorpio are aiming for a similar path as that of a PC. As Greenberg asks, "How do we bring that to scale in a console in your living room? Moreover, certified, "That's a big part of what Project Scorpio is about."

To put it in another perspective, aside from the controlled leaks regarding the machine, we know nothing of the machine itself. Is it really going to be a console with the power of a high-end PC, or is it going to be a PC that is also a console?

There is more. Windows Central reported, Microsoft announced, mouse and keyboard support is coming to the Xbox One. WHY? Is this a dry run of what is to come for the Xbox Scorpio PC/Console? Honestly, we do not know at this point, but one thing is sure, it is coming soon.
