The upcoming iPad Air 3 is rumored is expected to have a chipset upgrade, an improved rear camera and flash, and many more. Fans want the device to have pencil support, and 3D touch.

iPad Air 3 might get chipset upgrade

iPad Air 2 was launched with an A8X chipset, which was slightly better version of the A8 chip of the iPhone 6s. It offered better processing power than the iPad Air 1's A7 chip and it offered improved graphics. According to Value Walk, the iPad Air 3 is expected to have at least an A9X or the A10 Fusion when it is launched.

iPad Air 3 might get an improved rear camera and a better flash technology since the 9.7 inch iPad Pro had the first flash. It is expected that Apple will take advantage of the fact that many iPad owners want to use their devices to record video and take pictures.

iPad Air 3 might have higher screen resolution, larger internal storage

It is rumored that the iPad Air 3 might get an upgrade for its high-definition screen display, which will be 4K resolution. It is also predicted that it might get an upgrade with internal storage capacity, which might be 64GB.

iPad Air 3 to be thinner than iPad Air 2

iPad Air 3 is predicted to be thinner than the iPad Air 2 since the latter was also thinner than the iPad Air 1. Due to the thinner chassis, it is rumored to have a lower-capacity battery unit, but it could also mean that it could last longer in terms of usage. To compensate its thinner chassis, it might also get the 7000-series aluminum like from the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

What fans want for iPad Air 3

According to the official website of Reddit, a member said that the iPad Air 3 will have the Apple Pencil support and the Touch ID. Another member suggested that it should have multi-tasking features to make it more convenient for them.
