iOS 10.2 is Apple's second beta released for the OS update. Moreover, a free public beta program was also launched for non-developers. The update itself is slated to roll out in December 2016.

The iOS 10.2 has reportedly been released for the iPad, iPod touch and iPhone, 9to5Mac reported. The OS update will also include three new wallpapers from the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Unicode 9.0 emoji as well as several camera features will also be included in the OS update.

The iOS 10.2 will also feature a new widget for Videos app, new preserve camera setting and new press and hold to speak menu. There is also a new celebration messages screen effect and headphone icon in status bar for Bluetooth and audio devices. A Show Star Ratings option will also appear below Music settings.

In the meantime, the TV app is also included on the iOS 10.2 beta, Mac Rumors reported. The app is said to be a TV guide by Apple to guide users to new content. The app will be available on the Apple TV and iOS devices with support for Siri Live Tune-In and Single Sign-On in a new Settings panel called TV Provide.

Meanwhile, the iOS 10.2 will also bring in with a new Emergency SOS feature to the Apple iPhone. The feature was first seen in the Apple Watch that will allow discreet contact of the police in case of an emergency. The call to the police may be placed without taking the phone out of the pocket.

iOS 10.2 will enable a call on the Emergency SOS feature after five rapid taps on the power button. The feature is only supported in 14 countries as of this writing. Furthermore, users may opt to assign emergency contacts to receive an alert when the Emergency SOS is triggered. Watch Everything New in iOS 10.2 Beta 2!
