As commendation for the program redesign of Business 330: Principles of Marketing, The Forbes School of Business and Technology at Ashford University has been award of the 2016 Association for Distance Education and Independent Learning (ADEIL) College Level Course Award last. The recipients of 2016 ADEIL College Level Course Award are those academic institutions and its faculty who are recognize with their accomplishments including author, course developer, instructor, and primary editor, who have worked hand-in-hand to create an exemplary course.

During the ADEIL conference, on behalf of the Forbes School of Business and Technology, Brenda Forde, Forbes School of Business and Technology Program Chair and Instructor, accepted the 2016 ADEIL College Level Course Award held in Colorado Springs, Colo. on October 19, as reported by PRNews.

According to Ashford University President and CEO, Dr.Craig Swenson, their university is proud of the innovative, high-quality programs they provide to our students. The Forbes School of Business and Technology at Ashford University is delighted to be the recipient of the 2016 ADEIL College Level Course Award.

Business 330 aims to provide students with an engaging and interactive classroom experience through employing the latest technology and real-world applications. This highly innovative course is very vital in coping with the changes or advancement in technology. Dr. Avisha Sadeghinejad, Forbes School of Business and Technology program chair, assistant professor , and lead course developer of Business 330. She said that considering the needs and the nature of their students in mind as the first priority, Business 330 was developed as a course that offers richer learning experiences by creating engagement and giving the students an opportunity to connect theory and practice.

During the course redesigning of Business 330, Dr. Paula Zobisch, Mike Pennella and Suzi Mazzenga worked alongside Dr. Sadeghinejad. Dr. Zobisch is an associate professor, instructor and program chair at Forbes School of Business and Technology. While Pennella is an iDesignEDU Learning Experience and Mazzenga is an iDesignEDU Instructional Designer Technologist.
