Activision has recently launched "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and it has become one of the popular first person shooters for this year. This time around, players will be fighting around space and visiting different locations like planets and space stations. Here are some of the basic information fans and newbies should know first before they purchase the video game.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" information on single player campaign

According to the official website of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," players will take control of Captain Nick Reyes, a Tier 1 Special Operations pilot who leads a crew that end a conflict against the Settlement Defense Front. The story of the game takes place in a distant future and battles are fought in space, some areas in planets, space stations, ships, and more.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer gameplay information

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's" multiplayer gameplay will have a movement system that has a fluid momentum for almost-realistic space battles. It also features player focused map designs, different customizations for convenience and uniqueness and intense gameplay experience just like any "Call of Duty" multiplayer game.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Zombies in Spaceland information

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will include the popular Zombies feature, which is Zombies in Spaceland. According to another post on the official website of the video game, this mode will transport players back in time, which will be in the 1980s. Aside from zombies, they will see some hidden Easter eggs, helpful power ups, balanced perks, insane weapons and the '80s soundtrack.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" microtransactions feature

Players should expect that "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will get a microtransactions feature called the Supply Drop loot boxes. These will contain a special tier of weapons, which will only be available in these payable boxes. Some fans are complaining about this feature because it is like a pay-to-win situation where the ones who could afford this can get high powered weapons and win matches easily.
