"Injustice 2" release date was confirmed a week ago, but now, speculation on the delay arises due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. What could be happening with the game?

"Injustice 2" release date delayed?

The excitement could end for "Injustice 2" fans as the recent SAG-AFTRA strike could cause the game's release date to be pushed back. The strike impacts the game industry including big makers such as Insomniac Games and Warner Bros. The games affected with the strike are the ones developed after February 2015. This means that "Injustice 2" could be in the list.

It seems like the fighting falls out of place because the union feels the need for the voice actors and performers to have a better deal. According to EGM Now, it has been more than a year since the concern was raised but there is no immediate response to that.

"Injustice 2" to feature more DC characters

Rumor has it that "Injustice 2" will feature villain Ra's al Ghul. Captain Cold is teased by the game's director himself, according to EventHubs. However, the labor union strike may affect the roster since it involves a lot of talents that may be demanding better contract deal.

There is no word from the game developer and the fans are starting to get anxious whether the strike will impact their favorite video game.
