Philanthropist and veteran actress Jennifer Garner was recently awarded for her work towards helping new moms with the lack of diaper supplies and push for early education. As she continue to work towards her goal of ensuring every mothers are equipping their children with the best resources, she shares her advice on parenting.

Being a mother herself, Jennifer Garner always makes sure her children are top priority. When it comes to her daughters Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7 and son Samuel, 4, she knows that it is important to always model the best example.

Recently, the actress held the stage at the Save the Children's 4^th Annual Illumination Gala. The 44 year old celebrity told the audience in New York that her goal is to raise her kids in the best way she can. And that is to help other people who need help. As a mother, according to Aww, she knows that it is her responsibility to lead by setting the example.

She goes on to say that the best thing to teach your children is to start with values. And for her, you have to show them. She understands that being a mother is a life-long responsibility. Which is why she encourages parents to invest on early education.

Garner is completely focused on her philanthropy causes. This is obvious after being awarded at the Starkey Hearing Foundation for her recent work regarding early child education.

She makes sure that her children and her causes are the top priority. Although recently separated from actor Ben Affleck, the two actors were able to co-parent their kids successfully. She does not let her personal issues get in the way of her kids' needs.

According to reports, the couple even continued to share the same residence even through their separation.

What's next for Garner? She continues to create awareness regarding childhood education and the need for diapers in the country with Baby2Baby.
