Nintendo's says no more details will be given about the Switch until Jan. 13, 2017.

The reaction of people on YouTube tells only one thing, Nintendo has a winner on their hands. Everyone has been waiting for months on end for the introduction of the gaming device that was initially called the Nintendo NX. It has been subjected to speculations from its looks, to what games it could play, if it had backward compatibility and more.

The video reveal gave a sampling of what to expect from the Nintendo Switch. A great many were impressed and some cannot wait until March 2017 exclaiming in their YouTube reaction videos to "Take my money now!"

However, keeping it cool, Nintendo is not just about to give us the goods just yet. Tatsumi Kimishima, president of Nintendo, during their semi-annual financial reports meeting held on Oct. 27, The Nintendo Switch was discussed during the last portion of the briefing. It is accurate when they said that they've got a fantastic response from all over the world upon release of the 3-minute video. The video released on their official YouTube Channel alone has already reached 23 million views worldwide.

As planned, the Nintendo Switch will be released worldwide in March 2017. Nevertheless, before that, Nintendo will conduct a launch event called "Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017" planned for January 13, 2017 (JST). They are going to invite media, analysts, and their distribution partners to the event to be held at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan and the event will also be streamed live worldwide over the internet, according to Nintendo.

During the said event, Nintendo says they are going to announce the specifications, software lineup, the price and other product details. They also added however that they do not plan to release any additional details about the Nintendo Switch until the planned event, Forbes reported.

Nintendo also plans to provide a "Nintendo Switch Hands-On Experience " which they say will be done early January in Japan, the U.S. and Europe. They have already scheduled the Hands-On Experience for Japan on Jan. 14 and Jan. 15 immediately preceding the Presentation on the Jan. 17, 2017.
