Here's a list of reasons why you won't need to upgrade your Nexus 6P to Google Pixel.

Pixel phones are dust and splash resistant but that does not mean users can take it into the deep. It is not an IP68 certified like a Samsung Galaxy S7 and neither does the Nexus 6P.

Google Pixel is the one that gets Android Nougat out of the box but the Nexus 6P OS can be upgraded to the latest version. Google Pixel has the best camera according to the DxOMark - pointing at 89 rating. It's got video stabilization software for steady shots. Nexus 6P is not far behind. In fact, both phones offer the same camera specs, GSM Arena reported.. When used for video recording, the Nexus 6P gets shaky result but it is still able to capture great quality images.

Google Pixel phones battery can be considered as a downgrade. This is because the smaller Pixel has 2770 mAh battery whereas the larger one, Pixel XL, has the same capacity with the Nexus 6P, a whopping 3450 mAh battery.

Nexus 6P is priced at $499. For a faster-performance smartphone, potential users have to pay $649.99 for Google Pixel, AndroidHeadlines reported.
