"Pokemon Go" took the mobile gaming realm by storm as soon as it debuted earlier this year and gripped millions of teens and adults alike that are still going berserk over capturing their favorite monster by exploring the real world, and sometimes, with a little help from tricks, cheats and hacks that are available online.

While many avid "Pokemon Go" players prefer to stick to the game's main concept of exploring the real world to catch Pokemon, some players opt for unethical means including "Pokemon Go" tips, tricks, cheats and hacks ( via third party apps/websites) to get their hands on these coveted creatures.

Niantic Labs, developer of the mobile sensation continues to lay down the ban hammer on cheaters that use short cuts to level up in the game, but this hasn't stopped third party apps and websites from surfacing online every now and then. In fact, there are umpteen "Pokemon Go" tips, tricks, cheats and hacks available online, in addition to a slew of third party apps.

Third Party Apps - PokeSweep

PokeSweep is a third-party app that is considered as a cheat. This Android run app reveals nearby Pokemon even when a player's phone display is turned off. This way, it allows a player to conserve his/her phone's battery while reducing hunting at the same time, ChristianToday reported.

Trackers

Another type of tools that players of the hit augmented reality game use to facilitate Pokemon hunting is trackers.

There are umpteen trackers including PokeVS, PokeFast, PokeRadar and FastPokemap that allow players to effortlessly track down Pokemon within a set radius. Some trackers are even capable of locating specific types of Pokemon and notifying players about the creature's duration in a specific area. Thanks to such trackers, evolving Pokemon and earning Pokemon Candy for players is a child's play.

Desktop Emulators

Aside from third party apps, desktop emulators coupled with GPS (Global Positioning System) spoofs are also used by some "Pokemon Go" players.

Using desktop emulators to run mobile apps along with GPS spoofs enable players to capture Pokemon without actually exploring the real world. No doubt, with this cheat, capturing Pokemon is a lot easier, but players are advised to bear in mind that Niantic can lay down a strong ban hammer of the location spoofing cheat anytime.

Meanwhile, players who prefer to delve into the competitive aspect of the game may have something to cheer about. A couple of tips are available for players that they can follow to beat gym defenders.

Pokemon are not sparred of weaknesses, and their vulnerabilities can be used to players' advantage. GamePress published an all-inclusive list that reveals the best gym defenders and their toughest match-ups.
