Lenovo K6 Note is an upgraded version of the K5 Note which released only a few months after its predecessor. Looking through the specs, here's what you need to know about the two Lenovo's flagships.

Lenovo K6 Note vs K5 Note: Design

In January, Lenovo launched K5 Note with 5.5 inch screen. It is a dual-SIM phone with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 401 ppi pixel density. Moving on to the K6 Note, it sports the same screen size and resolution. Both phones have full-metal unibody design - which quickly reminds us of Xiaomi's Redmi 3S Prime.

Lenovo K6 Note vs K5 Note: Hardware and software

K5 Note runs Android Lollipop whilst the next gen runs Android Marshmallow. Lenovo does not change the internal storage as both handsets offer the same memory space of 32 GB, which is paired with either 3 GB of RAM or 4 GB of RAM. There is a difference, however, when it comes to the processor.

K6 Note houses Snapdragon 430 whilst K5 Note uses Helio P10 under its hood. Both get octa-core CPU. From here, it can be argued that both Lenovo's flagships show an average performance when used for gaming. Gamers are recommended to opt for the 4GB variant for a smooth gaming experience.

The rear camera has been upped. K5 Note gets 13 MP camera whilst K6 Note sports 16 MP camera - both features phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. The selfie shooter still sports 8 MP camera, GSM Arena wrote.

Both K5 Note and K6 Note pack fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 4.1 and microUSB. If you are an avid music listener, the Dolby Atmos speaker should enhance the audio experience.

 K5 Note has 3,500 mAh non removable battery and the K6 Note has 4,000 mAh non removable battery. The capacity in K6 Note may have been improved but other smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Note series offer larger capacity at the similar specs degree. And the lack of fast-charging could be a deal breaker for Lenovo's handsets.

Lenovo K6 Note vs K5 Note: Price

Judging from the quick specs comparison, Lenovo introduces only a few improvements in the K6 Note. Lenovo sells K5 Note at around $179 price point whilst K6 Note is priced at around $208.

With the price gap and a few improvements, K6 Note might not be a great choice to upgrade from the K5 Note.
