GoPro Hero 5 is officially released. There are three new devices introduced in the launch event and one of them is the awesome Karma Drone.

Among the action cameras launched by GoPro, one device stands out from the crowd. The Karma Drone seems to be an impressive device as it is the company's first drone - and it is foldable, Business Insider reported.

Naming its drone with 'Karma' - CEO Nick Woodman said that it is about sharing the good experiences. According to Mashable, Woodman states that people capture images that are meaningful to them and by sharing them, it allows others to sense the same feeling. Speaking about sharing a meaning - Woodman explains about 'a chi being transferred in a certain degree' - a karma transfer'

The GoPro Karma Drone is especially designed for sports action. It is foldable so that users can keep it inside a backpack alongside the gimbal and controller - a clam remote with a preview screen.

And GoPro designs the controller with high pixel density so users could still view it in a bright outdoor situation. The Karma drone also features Auto Shot Paths for automated shot mode.

GoPro Hero 5 specs review

The release of Hero 5 somehow confirms all the rumors that have swirled around the web for awhile. GoPro Hero 5 Black features 4K display, touchscreen and built-in GPS. There is also voice command - which will remind you of Garmin's Ultra 30 camera released earlier. The action camera sports 12 MP lens and it is now a waterproof device that users can bring into the water up to 10 meters deep.

The Hero 5 Session, which is a spec-down version of Hero 5, has no touchscreen. It sports 10 MP camera and is also lacking of RAW support.
