Barbara Wu, a 22-year-old student at the University of California, Riverside, is facing six felony charges including soliciting murder, making terrorist threats and stalking. She was accused of asking two of her former boyfriends to kill another two of her ex-boyfriends in a murder-for-hire plot.

On May 29, Wu was arrested and held on $500,000 bail at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, Calif. She pleaded not guilty to the charges pressed against her.

Dennis Lin, one of her ex boyfriends, testified Friday during the preliminary hearing that Wu asked him to kidnap and kill one of her former lovers during their four-month relationship.

"She asked me to kidnap him, tie him up so she could break his legs with a bat, to motorcycle him and then to somehow kill him and then dispose of the body," said Lin in Riverside County Superior Court.

'She made me promise that I would go through with it,' said Lin, 21. 'She wanted me to tie him up, use a bat to break his legs, kill him, then discard the body. She wanted us to leave the country after we did all of this to him.'

When Lin complained to the police about Wu, he was asked to wear a wire to track her conversations. In the audio tapes, investigators heard Wu allegedly devising a violent death plan for her ex.

One of the targets of the murder-for-hire plot, who wasn't identified, also testified in court that Wu went on a revenge spree after they broke up via email in December 2012, including sending threatening messages, posting his personal information on a Craigslist sex ad and threatening him with a knife.

"She guarded the door with a knife. She tried to attack me with the knife and that's all I remember," he said.

A second man, who dated Wu in 2009 and 2010, came forward after her arrest was reported in the news and said that Wu also asked him to kill one of her former boyfriends.

Lin describes Wu as 'vindictive and impulsive.' Wu once told him, 'I always get what I want. I don't take 'no' for an answer.'

'Since I'm now an ex-boyfriend, I fear for my life,' Lin said. He also said that when they were dating, Wu actually discussed killing 'at least two' of her ex-boyfriends.
