SoundCloud Go offers three months of music for only 99 cents. Previously, the online audio platform was reported that it accidentally leaked hundreds of private songs of artists, thus made artists shocked over the news.

Leaked music, which hasn't been officially announced in public is a major problem for all artists. Usually, third parties are responsible for releasing music earlier than expected.

In the case of SoundCloud, the Berlin-based audio platform was reported that it accidentally leaked the private tracks of artists. Another major problem, the artists learned that their private tracks were leaked online on social media, according to Uproxx.

Many artists voiced out their dismay on Twitter. Most of them complained why the company did not give them an email warning.

In a released statement of the audio platform, SoundCloud blamed "a coding error during routine improvements and maintenance."

To resolve the problem, the music service "reset the infected links of all affected tracks." Later on, the music service released an apology letter to its users, and promised they will work hard to prevent this kind of problem in the future.

Currently, SoundCloud Go streaming service is a half a year old. It can be considered as a new brand, unlike its competitor Spotify-it has been established as a steaming service since 2008.

Since the Berlin-based audio platform could be considered as a newbie, it is determined to attract the hesitant listeners, and compete with its competitor. To encourage music enthusiasts, SoundCloud Go promo offers three months of unlimited music for only 99 cents, Engadget reported.

Aside from unlimited music for three months, subscribers will enjoy ad-free music if they subscribe on Sept. 19. This offer maybe not new to some people because Spotify also did the same, however, this a chance for users to try another streaming service. It is also a chance for SoundCloud to clean their name after it accidentally leaked the hundreds of private tracks.
