The three original Mythbusters trio, Grant Imahara, Kari Byron and Tory Belleci comes back to your screens in a new scientific series. The new series will air on Netflix and is called the White Rabbit Project.

It is the same angle as Mythbusters except that it dips more into pop culture, history and science. Next Big Future has it that the title stems from the Alice in Wonderland bit. Where Alice follows the rabbit down the rabbit hole. The three hosts have the degrees to back up their new investigative roles.

Grant Imahara is a graduate of University of Southern California. He has a degree in electrical engineering. Later on he was hired as an engineer for Lucasfilms and dabbled in visual effects and light and magic. He has worked on a bunch of Star Wars films The Lost World: Jurassic Park and a couple of the Matrix films and more.

Kari Byron on the other hand graduated from the San Francisco State University. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in film and sculpture. She was cast on the second season of Mythbusters alongside Tory and Grant. Hyneman took her in after consistently showing up in his M5 Industries workshop just to get hired.

Tory Belleci graduated from the San Francisco State University's film school. He has a long standing relationship with fire and explosives. He also worked with Jamie Hyneman at M5 Industries as a stage manager.

After Mythbusters, the trio continue to put their portfolio to good use. By focusing this time on dissecting super powered tech, jail breaks, criminal heists and unusual war weapons. But these are just some of the topics that will be covered. They will do the same bit as they did in Mythbusters. Grant, Kari and Tory will be conducting experiments to find out what makes these topics tick.

But they assure us that the format is not the same as Mythbusters. Kari herself tweeted out that there will be no "busting of myths."
