This is it! The last year of college life! And all you need is to get through the first day to get the ball rolling. But are you ready for the end?

Are you ready for the real world in less than a year? It does not matter where you come from or where you are going. There is going to be that swell of emotion that you need to go through. So ask yourself, what do you need to be thinking before your last college year ends?

1. Know that this is your last year and it is going to be bittersweet. You will miss your comfortable routine and you will become a small fish in a big pond. Just remember to do your best, states Bustle.

2. Yes, the 8:00 AM lecture takes attendance. Sometimes it starts at 7:30 AM.

3. Your last year will be the longest year of your life.

4. "I can't believe I got away with skipping out on a foreign language course - FOR FOUR YEARS."

5. You need to remember that it's totally alright if you can't get a job in your field ASAP. There's always grad school. So don't panic.

6. Career student is a real thing. A PhD right after your name looks mighty fine.

7. The paperwork says otherwise but you know there is always a way to get those loans forgiven - right? There is a loophole somewhere. Find it.

8. And then you're going to think - "Do I need a foreign language course to graduate?" You need to make an appointment with your grad counselor.

9. Check your age and get the shots you need before you're out of your parents' insurance.

10. Is this going to be the year that you look like you're put together in class? Have a stab at strobing before you debut under the fluorescent lights.

11. Say goodbye to dorms and assigned roommates! Which means you may live alone or with your family for several months. Ever thought about that? Or you'll live with a suspicious roommate but then after that, surely, you're going to live alone.

This is the year you will find yourself but then you're going to beg to stay a little bit more longer.
