The phone is smaller than the Moto G4 Plus model and users would find it fits better in the hand. G4 Play also feels comfortable when you hold it. The body is all-plastic but the buttons are tactile. In fact the phone has more solid grip than of those with metal constructions.

Motorola Moto G4 Play sports 5 inch screen with 720x1280 pixels resolutions. It packs 2 GB of RAM and Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. G4 Play runs Android Marshmallow, NDTV wrote.

G4 Play costs $50 cheaper than the G4 Plus. It is no wonder that the camera quality is reduced (G4 Plus gets 16 MP). Moto G4 Play offers 8 MP of rear camera and 5 MP of front camera.

Moto G4 Play is powered by 2,800 mAh removable battery. Compared to the Xiaomi Redmi 3S, the phone gets smaller capacity but given the removable feature; users can actually carry a spare to be used. The phone does offer fast charging feature with only 15 minutes to make the phone lasts 5 hours.

Other components of Moto G4 Play includes Bluetoothe 4.1, 4G LTE, VoLTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.

The overall specs are a little bit old especially when compared to today's phonemakers that already equip their devices with huge RAM, fingerprint scanner and USB type C port.

Motorola Moto G4 Play US release

The cheaper Moto G4 phone variant was announced on Tuesday and is priced at $149. Pre-order is available on Amazon, B&H Photo and Motorola official site with the shipment starts on September 15, ZDnet reported.

The price is already affordable but if consumers would like to get a cheaper tag, Amazon Prime offers the pre-order of Moto G4 Play at $99 for their members.
