Google Nexus 2016 devices, HTC Marlin and Sailfish, that are being developed, have recently been certified by the US FCC. Also, AnTuTu has evaluated the upcoming mobile phones.

HTC Marlin and Sailfish are the two much awaited new Google Nexus devices that are expected to be released. Since both are just about to arrive, new renders and prices have already been leaked online, providing details on the specs of the upcoming devices.

HTC Marlin and Sailfish will be offered at a much higher price compared to their predecessors. Nexus Sailfish will be priced at $499, while Nexus Marlin at 32GB will cost around $599,  Phone Arena  reported.

In addition, the latest renders were also leaked on the Chinese website Weibo, giving a glimpse of what the new devices would look. According to the Chinese website, the leaked photos of the new Nexus phones appear to be made of metallic frame, which is placed between the two sheets of glass. The image also shows that the devices measure 5-inches and feature a full 1920 x 1080 HD display, along with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 and 64-bit quad core SoC and Adreno 530 GPU.

The volume rocker and power or lock button keys are placed on the right-hand side, which is the same with the previous Nexus models. The fingerprint scanner, on the other hand, is in the back part along with an 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera.

Both HTC Marlin and Sailfish devices have a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top, while their bottom has the Type-C USB as well as  two sets of speaker grills. The two will be powered by a 2,770mAh battery. These new Nexus devices will come in gold, silver, and black colors.

HTC Sailfish and Marlin are reported to come out of the box with the new Android OS. Meanwhile, although Android 7.0 Nougat has only been released lately, there are speculations that Google Nexus 2016 may come with Android 7.1 when it is released in October,  Parent Herald reported.
