Ever since the footage for the upcoming Warner Bros./DC film, "Justice League" was revealed in Hall H at the recently concluded 2016 San Diego Comic Con, numerous casting and plot rumors have surfaced - but still, nothing has been official.

The past weeks birthed the rumor of the inclusion of "The Joker," who was portrayed by actor, Jared Leto in Warner Bros. latest film release, "Suicide Squad" and fans have speculated of what kind of role he'll be playing in the upcoming superhero epic. But that information is still up in the air as there are still no word from Warner Bros confirming this. However, fans may get something that seems more than likely to happen - and this information comes from a person with strong ties to the Warner Bros. DCEU film franchise.

Just recently, according to ScreenCrush, actor Ben Affleck, who played the role of "Batman" to critical-acclaim in Warner Bros.' polarizing film, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," has tweeted out a footage of someone familiar to DC fans. The footage is 27 seconds long and is all about the DC villain, Slade Wilson AKA "Deathstroke." The visual style of Deathstroke is slightly similar to his look in the "Arkham Asylum" game series. Fans may also be familiar with the character as he has been featured heavily in the earlier seasons of the hit CW show, "Arrow," portrayed by "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" actor Manu Bennet.

While the information about Deathstroke's inclusion in the DCEU is pretty much confirmed by Affleck, the remaining question is which movie will he be introduced? A year ago, CinemaBlend posted an article pertaining to a focus group over at Warner Bros. seem to be inclined to the idea of the inclusion of Deathstroke in "Suicide Squad." But that didn't follow through.

Could fans very see Ben Affleck's Batman go toe-to-toe with the mercenary Deathstroke in the upcoming Batman stand-alone film, or will he be debuted in a much earlier release movie such as Justice League? Also, according to Variety, the internet is now filled with casting speculations regarding how "Magic Mike" actor Joe Manganiello could be a fit for the role, as he was also seen in London, which is where Justice League is currently filming. Could Manganiello be cast as Deathstroke in the near future?
