In a previous report, Katy Perry released her Olympic-themed song "Rise." And now, Perry's latest single has now a video, and it is available on Youtube.

Katy Perry's "Rise" video was released on Friday, August 5, just before the opening ceremony of Rio Olympics, according to The Guardian. In the video, the "Fireworks" hitmaker looks so badass as she attempts to launch herself using a parachute. 

The video shows that the pop singer is trying to launch herself in Utah's Snow Canyon and Sand Hollow state park. You will see that she's struggling and get some bruises as she's hanging from the cliff of Snow Canyon because she was tangled in the parachute. 

The "Hot n Cold" hitmaker thrilled the fans more after she released the "Rise" video. With that, her fans are hoping to see Perry to perform her Olympic-themed song at the Rio Olympics 2016 Friday's Opening Ceremony, according to Mirror UK.

The world's biggest sporting event has started on Friday. Fans started to ask the "Roar" singer on Twitter if she will perform at the Opening Ceremony. As a matter of fact, the singer was bombarded by the same questions.

The Rio Olympics 2016 Opening Ceremony was held at the Marcana Stadium. According to the source, about 78,000 spectators were expected to attend the event, and watch the celebration of Brazilian culture.

Katy Perry's was "Rise" released on July 14, same day when Britney Spears' released her new single "Make Me." Perry's "Rise" defeated Spears' latest single on iTunes and Apple top chart.

"Rise" includes lines, "When, when the fire's at my feet again/And the vultures start circling/They're whispering, 'you're out of time'/But still I rise."
