Not a lot of people know this but most celebrities, great musicians and artists were educated in the best universities and colleges. Frank Ocean is one of them.

Frank Ocean was born in California but at the age of five, they moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. He started to love the local jazz scene. In time, he worked his way as a teenager in order to save up some cash to rent some studio time. "Oh man I had numerous hustles ... Washing cars was one of them, and mowing lawns and walking dogs," says Ocean.

To get further education for his craft, he enrolled in the University of New Orleans in 2005. However, Hurricane Katrina hit the area and he transferred to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. When he moved to Lafayette, no one really noticed his presence. His real name is Christopher Breaux and there were hundreds of Christopher Breaux's in the area.

He was known as a Ragin' Cajun. He was already writing music but he claims that his earlier works were very amateur and unpolished. As Ragin' Cajun, he was not recording music in Lafayette. But when a friend in Los Angeles offered him a deal to use some studio time, he packed up and went.

Then the rest is history. New York Times has it that Frank Ocean's new album is going out on Friday. "Boys Don't Cry" is considered to be the latest high profile album to be released. And fans have been waiting for ages for Frank Ocean's new album to be dropped.

It is not yet known when the official album drop will happen but Apple, Spotify and Tidal are already trying to get an exclusive deal for the release.

It is clear that years of hard work and higher education, no matter how short, helped Frank Ocean achieve his dreams. But only time will tell until Frank Ocean's new album "Boys Don't Cry" will be dropped.
