The official lineup of the free the games that will be offered to 'PlayStation Plus' subscribers this coming August 2016 has been officially announced by Sony last Wednesday. According to Playstation Blog, "This month we look to satisfy your inner space pirate while exploring the depths of space, and let you battle it out with friends in a hilariously frenzied tower builder."

However, there's a buzz going around the gamer's community that the list for this month will not excite the subscribers. The website Gamepur cited a reason why is that so. According to their post, it doesn't really look a very inspired free games list to offer players in the Summer. Why is that so?

The following is the game lineup for the month of August:

• Rebel Galaxy, PS4
• Tricky Tower, PS4
• Yakuza 5, PS3
• Retro/Grade, PS3
• Patapon 3, PS Vita
• Ultratron, PS Vita, PS3, PS4

Gamepur revealed that Yakuza 5 didn't make it to the top choices while Rebel Galaxy and Tricky Towers are indie games. Not to mention that Tricky Towers "is even one of those wouldn't play if not offline with your friends."

In contrast to Gamepur statement, Playstation Blog said, "Tricky Towers is at its best when you're competing against friends, with local and online multiplayer for two to four players." They also said that the game is a physics-based action puzzler, perfect fit to those who love to build their own precarious tower. Rebel Galaxy is also one of the games in the list applauded by the blog. This action game from Double Damage, will let you "build your own reputation through trade by being a work-for-hire mercenary." Taking away the space thematic, they said, there's always something new to discover.

The best way to confirm if the rumor is weight with truth is to wait for the gamers comments after they head to their respective PS Plus hub. Meanwhile, if you can't get over with the games from the previous month, they can still be downloaded until Sony refreshes the list.
