The "Kingdom Hearts" franchise is all set to tee off its first official concert tour this summer. Starting next month, fans across the world will have an opportunity to hear their number one tracks from the hit action role-playing games live amid a couple of different concert series.

Square Enix tipped off new game details regarding "Kingdom Hearts 3" during the imminent "Kingdom Hearts" concert slated to start in August. The first show dubbed "Kingdom Hearts Concert -First Breath-" is scheduled to happen specifically with Japanese venues such as Osaka, Aichi and Tokyo.

Regrettably, fans outside Japan who want to watch the "Kingdom Hearts" concert are in for a long wait - March to June next year - as the tour will take place in China, Singapore, England, France and the United States.

According to game director Tetsuya Nomura, the concert tour will laud the 15th Anniversary of "Kingdom Hearts" game franchise and will put together a slew of videos from past games and will be displayed in the concert. The game developer might even divulge more details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" during the concert in a bid to keep fans thrilled about the game, Polygon reported.

Nomura clarified the reason behind starting the tour next year on its website.

On an unrelated note, Square Enix finally opened up about their reasons for not trotting out "Kingdom Hearts 3" during E3 2016 as the game's co-director Tai Yasui noted that the decision was made citing the lack of marketing material for the third instalment; and that Square Enix is concentrating on developing "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" right now, VentureBeat reported.

Yasue noted that it was an extremely tough decision to not reveal any sort of details of "Kingdom Hearts 3" as the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 FInal Chapter Prolgue" is slated to make an appearance in December. The studio is currently developing both games simultaneously.

Moreover, it looks like Square Enix is planning to add Marvel and Star Wars worlds to "Kingdom Hearts 3" as Yasue tipped off that a couple of franchises could be featured in the game and they probably will have to go through an array of procedures to gain the licensed rights, although they are owned by Disney.

Square Enix gave high sign that the "Final Fantasy" worlds will not make an appearance in the game as the studio believes fans could connect better with the game if they only use Disney worlds. Until now, "Big Hero 6," "Tangled" and "Hercules" has already been confirmed in the game.

If rumors doing rounds are anything to go by, other worlds including "Brave," "Toy Story", "Wreck-it Ralph", "Zootopia", "Frozen" et cetera are still being thought-out.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is speculated to hit the shelves next year for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
