"One Punch Man" Season 2: depends on the reception of the English-dubbed version of Season 1?

Sources reported that the English-dubbed version of "One Punch Man" season 1 will be aired on July 16 in Toonami. Both Toonami and animation distribution company plans to bring the big hit action adventure anime to the screens all over North America.

The anime's popularity grows rapidly since its debut on both manga and tv series. Perhaps it this because of the unusual lead character Saitama who brings out excitement and energy all throughout the series. Due to its exceptional fame, solid fan base of the series was formed around the world, YIBADA reported.

After a successful season 1, fans are now rooting on the follow up episodes of the anime. Rumors said that season 2 will be aired on October 2016 or if not by early next year. Another report says that 2^nd season's release date will depend on the success of English-dubbed Season 1.

Yusuke Murata, creator of the manga, has confirmed that his team which includes him are now on the first phase of the production and most likely, fans will expect brand new episodes very soon. He also added that they have made some updates on the anime's source materials, but he didn't give any spoils on what will be the basis of its storyline. Season 2 may also feature more than 12 episodes compared to the latter season.

On the other hand, Saitama is expected to face, not one, but three main villains in the new season. These villains are rumored to be the strongest villains-created on the manga. They are Lord Boros, the leader of the Dark Matter Theives, Garou, the ex-student of S-Class ranked-- 3 Hero Silver Fang and Amai Mask, the ranked 1 hero in A-Class. 

However, there are no further information leaked about the sequel of "One Punch Man." While Murata reportedly prioritizing his other project, the new manga of "Weekly Morning," until then, the production of "One Punch Man" will probably pause for a while waiting for Murata's return,Ecumenical News reported.
